Who We Are
A family run business, we are two sisters committed to bringing you the finest natural artisan soap and plant-based skincare products. One of us has a background in biology and chemistry, and the other, an extensive knowledge in herbology and traditional Native American medicines. We have been making soap since 1999. The name “Earth Soap” reflects our commitment to the environment by bringing you the very best in skin care while using only quality and natural ingredients. Our goal is to make products that are not only good for you, but also made with methods and ingredients that are good for the earth.
Our natural plant-based products contain no artificial colorants or preservatives, are palm-free, organic and cruelty free. We strive to be an eco-conscious company every step of the way; from the ingredients we choose and where we source them to our manufacturing processes and packaging. We use sustainably sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible and many of our herbs and botanicals, such as our lavender, chamomile, and calendula, are grown in our own organic gardens. We don't use animal products except for a few that contain organic raw honey and beeswax we harvest from our own bees.
We also believe part of being a eco-conscious company is in giving back. With every purchase, we donate 10% to local needs along with charities dedicated to protecting the earth, or empowering woman and children through education, protection, access to clean water and healthcare.
We are sure you will enjoy the unique experience of our natural, earth friendly products.
How Our Soaps Are Made
We start with pure gentle olive oil and then add complementary oils such as fair-trade shea butter, coconut oil, and cocoa butter to enhance the qualities of the soap. Our blend of oils ensure a rich, thick lather and a long lasting bar of soap. Handcrafted soaps retain all of the naturally occurring glycerin that helps moisturize your skin and does not leave your body feeling dry and itchy as commercial soap does. All of our soaps are handcrafted in small batches and poured into wooden molds to set. After the soap has set, it is hand cut and racked, and allowed to cure for 4-6 weeks.
The soaps we offer change periodically. Please check back frequently to see what we are offering. If you are interested is something you don't see on our product page, please contact us for custom or wholesale orders.
